How We Check Ruby Fortune: Our Sources and Update Routine

18+18+, or the age of majority in your province, whichever is greater

Both versions of the brand are read in full — the international site and the Ontario one, homepage to footer.

Three trails run outside the brand’s own words: Kahnawake licence 00892, Ontario registration OPIG1237898 and the eCOGRA certificate.

No scores, no stars: we publish what the operator prints and put a date on it — the judging is left to the reader.

The current dataset was captured on 25 August 2026; a change in the offer or a footer triggers the next pass.

Every number on this hub has the same pedigree: it was read on a page the operator publishes, captured on a known date — currently 25 August 2026 — and cross-checked between the brand’s two storefronts. Where the storefronts disagree, we print the disagreement. What we do not do is just as fixed: no deposits of our own money, no RTP measuring, no scores — which is why you will find no star ratings anywhere on this site.

The reading list

What We Actually Read

Four kinds of sources, all named here so a reader can retrace any figure. None of them is a rumour, a forum or another review site.

Operator pages

The homepage, the /ca/ entry, Promotions, Banking, About Us, Loyalty Club, Responsible Gaming and the catalogue sections — the places where the brand commits to its own numbers.

Both footers

The small print of the international and the Ontario storefronts, quoted word for word — company names, licence numbers and issue dates all live there.

The certificate

The eCOGRA Safe and Fair document, with its review period read straight off the certificate rather than off a badge.

The selector

The configuration of the province selector — the quiet file that decides which Canadians see which storefront, and which provinces have no page at all.

Each capture is dated, and discrepancies are logged instead of resolved by taste. The best-known one: the 35x playthrough appears only on the Ontario version, so the Ruby Fortune review says exactly that, rather than quoting it as a universal figure.

The boundary

What We Check vs What We Don’t

  • Every published figure against the operator page it came from, on a dated capture.
  • Licence and registration numbers against the storefront footers, character by character.
  • The certificate’s review period against the document itself.
  • The two storefronts against each other, so version-only facts get labelled as such.
  • We do not deposit or withdraw our own money, so we quote no payout timings from experience.
  • We do not measure RTP — the operator’s advice to read each game’s Help file is the advice we repeat.
  • We do not award points or stars; a method that cannot test everything should not pretend to grade it.
  • We do not fill gaps: a figure the brand does not publish stays unpublished here too.

Outside the brand

The Paper Trail

Three references exist independently of the marketing copy, and each one can be checked without trusting us.

Kahnawake · the international site

Ontario · the .ca storefront

eCOGRA · the external audit seal

When a number moves — a new offer, a reworded footer, a fresh certificate — the affected pages are re-captured and re-dated; nothing is edited silently. Spotted something before we did? The contact page exists for exactly that, and the results always land back in the review first.
